Basque Country: months after the police murder of Iñigo Cabacas the only ones on trial are protesters who demanded justice

Iñigo Cabacas "Pitu"
Eight months have passed since a young citizen of Bilbao who was celebration his football team's victory was killed by the mad dogs of the (Western) Basque Autonomous Police (Ertzaintza) in a totally unprovoked and unjustified aggression triggered apparently by their own confusion and lack of discipline under a Basque Government under the control of the Spanish Unionist forces thanks to rigging the 2009 elections with the use of ad-hoc laws and judiciary and police might.

Since then nobody has been put to trial, an internal investigation on this case and another one in Vitoria-Gasteiz who left one seriously injured has been recently denounced by the Western Basque Ombudsman (Ararteko) as being a mockery and a cover up (different wording but same meaning).

Meanwhile four citizens who protested the murder before the top politician in charge, former Councilor of Interior Rodolfo Ares, are being accused of "altering the public order".

The protest under trial. T-shirt reads: Justice Now.

Almost exactly as it happened under fascism.
