Egyptian Revolution act 2 is happening these days and weeks:
The Military Junta lead by Gral. Tantawi (SCAF) attacked protesters who were besieging the Ministry of Defense and may have tried to storm it, causing one dead and some 400 injured. The Army claims "self-defense".
There are presidential elections scheduled for May 23-24 but several candidates have been vetoed by the Junta, including a fundamentalist leader on grounds that some of his grandparents are not Egyptian but North American.
But the main problem seems to be that the Junta has shown no interest in actually handling power to elect officers, for which there is only one remedy: that the people forces them to do it by any means necessary.
