Strange flashes (explosions?) in Fukushima Daiichi

Washington's Blog reports on two environmentally significant sightings today. Maybe the most scary one is explosions or flashes that look like explosions in the Fukushima Daiichi site, in what I think may be reactor no. 4, where all that mox (plutonium plus) spent fuel was stored and is now out of control.

He also mentions (same entry, another video) a 10 mile (18 kilometer) long slick near where last year's ecological catastrophe happened.
