Two more murdered by the Honduran junta in Bajo Aguán

Two more farmers have been murdered by paramilitary units of the dictatorship or their feudal landlords.

On May 7th Henry Roney Díaz was killed by state forces while attempting a forced evacuation from recovered lands (robbed by landlords some 16 years ago). Manuel Vásquez was also injured by live fire. Both were members of the Authentic Vindicator Peasants' Movement of the Aguán (MARCA by its Spanish Acronym) and of the Cooperative El Despertar (The Awakening).

Yesterday (May 10th) José Paulino Lemus Cruz was shot on the chest by unknown people (surely a death squad working for the landlords or the government) while traveling from Guadalupe Carney to Los Leones. He was member of the Peasants' Movement of the Aguán (MCA) and of the Cooperative Brisas del Edén (Breezes of Eden).
