Two days ago it was leaked that TEPCO would today release "high density radiation". I covered the leak from an Energy News original entry.
Today they are effectively releasing that under the pretense of an accidental leak in reactor no. 3, as shown in the following news video:

Additionally there seems to have been a fire in reactor 3 as well. Following the news item above, several workers would have received lethal doses of radiation.
Maybe it was an accident after all but the coincidence of the timing described in the leak and the "accident" is extremely suspicious.
