Brazil recognizes homosexual unions

Ending the juridical insecurity that homosexual couples had in Brazil so far, the Supreme Court of the American country declared that couples made of people of the same gender will be recognized as family units, being recognized the same rights as heterosexual couples in all matters legal and economic, including pensions and inheritances.
